1. How does your filter differ from paper or other store filters?
These filters are more durable, are re-useable, and trap particles down to the size of 3 microns
2. How do you clean the filter and with how much water?
To clean, simply spray water to clean off from the reverse direction that the air flows. Water breaks the bond of the electrostatic charge and allows the dirt to be removed. As soon as visibly clean, you are done. Some clients like to have an extra filter on hand to insert and use while the one they have just cleaned is drying
3. How is the electrostatic charge re-activated?
When the filter is dry, the natural electrostatic charge returns. Cool, huh?
4. What is the expected lifetime of the filter?
We tell clients 5-10 years, depending on how often and how well they are being cleaned. That saves you $100's of dollars on flimsy cardboard store bought filters that don't trap nearly what you get with this filter.
